Taking you where no bus tour can, the 'Galway on Foot' tour will take you through the walls of the city and into its medieval heart. Here, following a 450 year old map, you will encounter ancient cathedrals, living castles and the world's first "tourist trap", all while uncovering a colourful and often violent history. Reaching the river Corrib, you will visit the famous Spanish Arch before crossing to the ancient Claddagh, famed for its ring and unique culture.
Returning to the old city, experience Quay Street's atmosphere and medieval stonework. This tour will also introduce you to contemporary Galway, its culture and help you locate the perfect pint. Price includes a free sample of a Galway delicacy.
